Relationships and Railways: Creativity in Work, Hobbies, and Home (feat. Rian Gordon)

So you have a genius idea. Your hands are just aching to get started at your new art piece, or a new business, or new story, but you just need to double check no one else has done it first. You do a quick internet search… and end up starting into the abyss wondering if you can ever create anything truly new. We’ve been there, too. In today’s episode, guest Rian Gordon joins me to talk about building off the creativity around us, the vulnerability of sharing our creative works, and the surprising joy of model trains.

Rian is originally from Utah, where she currently lives with her little family of four. She has a Masters Degree in Family and Human Development from Arizona State University, and she currently works as a Special Projects Coordinator for Healthy Relationships California (a non-profit that teaches families how to have healthier relationships). When she isn't working or spending time with her family, Rian loves to crochet, sing, act, dance, and spend time outside.

You can find more of Rian’s work on Etsy and Instagram at JujuBeasCrochet, use the code TERRACOTTA for 10% off your order.
